The 2024 PortaOne Barcelona Meetup, held on March 1, was a unique event, held at a beautiful site outside of the city for a relaxed day of networking and trading insights. PortaOne customers shared their success stories and details about their recent projects, and the PortaOne team was on hand to answer questions and offer advice. Event Overview
This year, PortaOne customers converged not in an urban convention space but at a stunning Spanish winery an hour outside of the city of Barcelona. The cozy, relaxed atmosphere was the perfect forum for conversation, connection, and sharing ideas. Attendees were treated to a beautiful tour of the Cellers Avgvstvs Forvm winery, and dined on a special lunch that celebrated the famous Catalan Calçot experience. Speaker and Session Highlights
This year’s Barcelona meetup saw nine expert presenters: four members of the PortaOne team, and five guest speakers. The PortaOne presenters, including CEO Andriy Zhylenko, CCO Roman Khalenkov, product development officer Mike Kidik, and project manager Svitlana Melnychuk, gave attendees smart tips and best practices for extending the functionality of PortaSwitch and PortaBilling, and took a deep dive into the MVNO business model and the future of PortaPhone. Meanwhile, the five guest speakers from the PortaOne customer community offered the audience an inside look at their unique success stories, including a Dual Version MR leap, integrating PortaSwitch into a customized system architecture, adopting eSIM, creating profitable custom bundles, and deploying a first-in-region cloud PBX portal.
