SMS Gateway for Teams
Enable Microsoft Teams users to send and receive SMS messages directly from the Teams interface – without switching apps. The SMS Gateway module connects Teams to mobile networks via SMS aggregators, such as Twilio, which offer an API for sending and receiving SMS messages. SMS usage is charged in real time through PortaBilling, with delivery status tracking and message history available within Teams. SMS usage can be billed per individual message or included as part of a monthly quota.
To use the SMS Gateway module, you must have an active REST API for Charging subscription. You will also need accounts for Microsoft Teams and an eligible SMS aggregator (currently this is available for Twilio; please contact us if you want a different aggregator).

An instance is a single installation of the Add-on Mart app with an unlimited number of endpoints or users. A single instance is often associated to a single brand/whitelabel.
