Invoice Preview (billing run simulation)

Generate invoice previews in PortaBilling before the billing period ends. Invoice Preview simulates billing closure for a customer, calculating all charges, discounts, and taxes, and producing an invoice with a “Preview” watermark (so it won’t be mistaken for a real invoice). Producing a preview invoice allows admins to spot and fix errors before an invoice is issued. It does not affect the customer’s balance or other data. Previews can also be shared with customers, including large enterprises, to provide a clear estimate of upcoming charges and prevent billing disputes.
