PortaSwitch Maintenance Release 16

The Maintenance Release 16 is available for testing starting next week. Please contact our technical support team to schedule the upgrade.

Here is a short review of what is new in the MR16:

PortaBilling100
  • Account aliases
Extra flexibility for your business model. An account in PortaBillling100, and thus available funds, can be linked to several multiple identities (e.g. ANI number, DID number, PIN, etc.).
  • CDR re-rating tool
Higher efficiency. Here comes a robust and easy-to-use web-based alternative to the command-line CDR re-feed tool.
  • Web Singup 
Automation tool with improved usability for your clients.With this faster and more secure web singup function your clients are able to chose from available DIDs and UAs during the first registration as well as provide credentials for instant account creation, provisioning and payment collection.

PortaSIP
  • Conditional call forwarding
Another cool feature for your clients. This allows to set rules for call forwarding.
  • SIP TAPI
Integration with e-mail client. You customers can now click to dial in MS Outlook.

Unified Messaging
  • Stand-by server

Improved redundancy. With MR16 our clients can run both primary and stand-by PortaUM servers to ensure high level of redundancy and service availability.

  • PortaBridge - a conferencing server

An excellent way to stand out and improve you bottom line. This feature will allow your customers to enjoy conferencing service, inviting up to 40 callers in one virtual conference room to discuss common business project or just chat between friends and relatives.
